Ordering kit for one person is easy. Ordering for a whole team is where sizing trips people up. A little planning saves a lot of exchanges. Here's a simple approach.
Collect sizes properly
Don't guess. Share the specific size chart for the garment you've chosen (brands vary: a medium in one range isn't a medium in another) and ask each person for their size against that chart. For larger orders, it's well worth ordering a small size set or samples first so people can try before you commit the full run.
Think about fit and layering
Consider who's wearing what. Many ranges come in unisex and women's fits; offering both usually gives a better result than forcing one shape on everyone. If the garment is worn over other layers (a softshell over a hoodie, say), factor that in. Embroidery and print don't change the size you need, so order your normal fit.
Quantities and spares
Order a few spares in the most common sizes. New starters, replacements and the occasional wrong guess are inevitable, and topping up a small quantity later costs more per piece than including them now. A sensible buffer of the mid-range sizes keeps you covered.
